Wprowadzenie: Rak piersi jest chorobą ciężką i bardzo niebezpieczną. Rozwój choroby związany jest z uszkodzeniem genów BRCA1 i BRCA2 w wyniku mutacji. W celu zmniejszenia ryzyka zachorowania na nowotwór piersi, konieczna jest odpowiednia profilaktyka zwłaszcza samokontrola piersi. Diagnostyka opiera się na wielu badaniach, z których najważniejszym jest mammografia. Leczenie natomiast polega na wykonaniu operacji w celu usunięcia guza, dodatkowo w zależności od stopnia zaawansowania stosowana jest radioterapia chemioterapia lub leczeniu hormonalne. Zbyt późne wykrycie może prowadzi do zgonu.Celem pracy była ocena zachowań zdrowotnych kobiet w profilaktyce raka piersi.Materiał i metoda. W badaniu wzięło udział 200 pacjentek lekarza Podstawowej Opieki Zdrowotnej w Zakładzie Opieki Zdrowotnej w Ciężkowicach w województwie małopolskim, w okresie od lipca do października 2014r. Do przeprowadzenia badań ilościowych wybrano metodę sondażu diagnostycznego w postaci autorskiego kwestionariusza ankiety składającego się z 27 pytań, wykorzystano również Wielowymiarową Skalę Umiejscowienia Kontroli Zdrowia.Wyniki. Badania wykazały, iż podejmowane przez respondentki zachowania zdrowotne sprzyjają rozwojowi raka piersi.Wnioski. Podejmowanie zachowań zdrowotnych w profilaktyce raka piersi jest uzależnione od poziomu wiedzy badanych kobiet na temat choroby, ich wieku, stanu cywilnego i rodzaju wykonywanej pracy. Umiejscowienie kontroli zdrowia, wpływa również na podejmowanie zachowań zdrowotnych.

Introduction. Breast cancer is a disease of severe and very dangerous. The development of the disease is associated with damage to the genes BRCA1 and BRCA2 mutations as a result. In order to reduce the risk of developing breast cancer, it is necessary to appropriate prevention especially self-control of the breast.Diagnosis is based on several studies, the most important of whom is mammography. While the treatment is performed surgery to remove the tumor, in addition, depending on the degree of completion is used radiation therapy, chemotherapy or hormonal treatment. Late detection can lead to death.The aim of the work was to assess the health behavior of women in the prevention of breast cancer.Material and method. The study involved 200 patients primary care physician in the healthcare in Austins Lesser Poland Voivodeship,on the period from July to October. To carry out quantitative research method selected diagnostic survey in the form of a proprietary survey questionnaire consisting of 27 questions, they also used the multidimensional Scale The Location Of The Health Inspection.The results. Studies have shown that, taken by respondens health behaviors are conducive to the development of breast cancer.Conclusions. Taking health behaviour in the prevention of breast cancer is dependent on the level of knowledge surveyed women about the disease, their age, marital status and the type of work to be done. Health locus of control affects health behaviour-taking.
