Tematem mojej pracy jest model opieki nad kobietą z nowotworem jajnika po usunięciu macicy z przydatkami.Mimo ogromnego postępu w dziedzinie diagnostyki chorób nowotworowych, a także wzrostu świadomości i wiedzy społeczeństwa, rak jajnika wciąż jest schorzeniem, które często dotyka kobiety. Choroba ta wywiera ogromny wpływ nie tylko na zdrowie fizyczne kobiety, lecz również odciska swe piętno na psychice chorej. Istnieje kilka metod leczenia nowotworów jajnika, a wybór właściwej zależy od stopnia zaawansowania procesu nowotworowego. Często w przypadku tego schorzenia, zachodzi konieczność całkowitego usunięcia macicy z przydatkami.Pielęgniarki w czasie swojej pracy mogą uczestniczyć w procesie leczenia pacjentek chorych na nowotwór jajników, kwalifikowanych do zabiegu usunięcia macicy z przydatkami.Celem mojej pracy było opracowanie modelu opieki, opartego na najnowszej literaturze naukowej. Przedstawiony model opieki ułatwi sprawowanie właściwej opieki oraz przyczyni się do wzrostu skuteczności i efektywności podejmowanych działań.Holistyczne podejście do pacjentki, trafne rozpoznawanie problemów i deficytów, przygotowanie psychiczne i fizyczne do samoopieki, jak również udzielanie wsparcia psychicznego ma ogromny wpływ na skrócenie czasu hospitalizacji i wyniki leczenia.

The topic of my work is a model of care for women with ovarian cancer after hysterectomy and adnexectomy.Despite of the enormous progress in the field of cancer diagnosis, as well as increasing awareness and education, ovarian cancer is still a disease with a high incidence rate in women. This disease has a huge impact not only on the physical health of the patient, but also leaves its visible footprint on their psyche. There are several methods for the treatment of ovarian cancer, and the right choice depends on the stage of the cancer. In this condition it is frequently necessary to completely remove the uterus with its appendages.Nurses over the course of their career can take part in the treatment of patients with ovarian cancer, who are qualified for adnexectomy.The aim of my work was to develop a model of care based on the latest scientific literature, which will make it easier to exercise proper care and contribute to an increase in the effectiveness of interventions.A holistic approach to the patient, accurate detection of problems and deficits, mental and physical preparation for self-care, as well as providing psychological support has a huge impact on shortening the duration of hospitalization and treatment outcome.
