W pracy opisano zagadnienie kradzieży tożsamości w sieci. Wyjaśniono podstawową terminologię, tj. tożsamość, kradzież tożsamości, cyber-kradzież. Ukazano zjawisko kradzieży tożsamości w sieci jako problem o skali światowej oraz multidyscyplinarny - obejmuje ono bowiem kwestie prawne, techniczne, społeczne oraz psychologiczne. Celem pracy jest opisanie zagrożeń tożsamości w sieci takich jak: catfishing, romance scammers, hacking, phishing oraz pharming, a także ukazanie luk w zabezpieczeniach i regulaminach trzech stron internetowych: Facebook, Allegro i Sympatia. W części głównej poddano analizie regulaminy powyższych witryn, skupiając się na punktach zapisu, które stwarzały ubytki w systemie bezpieczeństwa. Następnie przedstawiono propozycje ich udoskonalenia. We wnioskach podkreślono, że konieczne jest skupienie się na poprawie jakości bezpieczeństwa zarówno samego serwisu jak i internautów posiadających w nim konta, zamiast na promocji i pozyskiwaniu nowych użytkowników. Zwrócono także uwagę na potrzebę szerzenia świadomości zagrożeń związanych z kradzieżą tożsamości w sieci.

The following thesis describes the problem of online identity theft. The paper includes a basic explanation of the terminology used in the text which are: the identity, identity theft, cyber-theft. The work reveals the phenomenon of online identity theft as a problem on a global scale and multidisciplinary nature of the issue as it encompasses legal, technical, social and psychological cases. Aim of this study is to describe the threats of identity on the network such as catfishing, romance scammers, hacking, phishing and pharming, and also to show the vulnerabilities in regulations of three websites: Facebook, Allegro and Sympatia. The main part was analyzed by the rules of the above sites, focusing on the points of entry, which have posed defects in the security system and then sets out proposals to counteract, through good security practices both for sites and individual users. Attention was also drawn to spread awareness of network threats by eliminating excess information that is not categorized by discipline. The conclusion emphasizes that it is necessary to focus on improving securityquality of both the service and the users instead of promoting and attracting new users to thewebsites.
