Poniższa praca ma na celu zaprezentowanie zarządzania i finansowania stowarzyszenia, którym jest ochotnicza straż pożarna. Praca porusza aspekt teoretyczny, którym jest pojęcie ogólne organizacji i kategoryzacji tych podmiotów, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem organizacji pozarządowych. Ponadto praca uwzględnia badania empiryczne przeprowadzone na podstawie dwóch przykładowych jednostek ochotniczej straży pożarnej. Analiza badań ukazuje różne rodzaje, charakter zarządzania i przede wszystkim uwzględnia najważniejszy obszar w organizacji, jakim jest finansowanie.Celem pracy jest porównanie dwóch podmiotów i wyciągnięcie wniosków dotyczących zarządzania, finansowania, ogólnej kondycji, a także ocena dalszego rozwoju tych organizacji.

This paper aims to present and evaluate the management and financing of the association, which is the voluntary fire brigade (TSO). The work consists of theoretical part including general issues related to the functioning of the organization, with particular emphasis on non-governmental organizations - including the volunteer fire brigades. In the empirical part of the work results of empirical research conducted in two selected teams of the TSO were presented. Analysis of the tasks' results, make it possible to draw conclusions about specific features of the operation of these units, as well as to show the differences in the area of management.The aim of the study is to compare the two entities and to draw conclusions regarding the management, financing, the overall condition, as well as assessment of the further development of these organizations
