Przedmiotem pracy magisterskiej jest opodatkowanie transakcji finansowych.Praca magisterska składa się z pięciu rozdziałów.W pierwszej kolejności uwaga poświęcona zostanie genezie podatku od transakcji finansowych zgodnie z założeniami jego twórcy Jamesa Tobina.Rozdział drugi poświęcony został istocie podatku bankowego w strukturze opodatkowania sektora finansowego, a także aktualnemu stanowi prawnemu w przedmiocie opodatkowania transakcji finansowych w Polsce. Natomiast szczegółowe rozważania dotyczące koncepcji podatku od transakcji finansowych według propozycji Komisji ujęte zostaną w rozdziale trzecim. Kolejna część rozważań stanowić będzie swoiste porównanie sprawiedliwości podatkowej w ujęciu materialnym z pomysłem sprawiedliwego i uczciwego opodatkowania branży finansowej. Ze względu na szerokie określenie ram tematycznych pracy niezbędne stanie się również poczynienie uwag dotyczących etyki i moralności opodatkowania, jak i wskazanie negatywnych konsekwencji prób uchylania się od opodatkowania. Pracę zamyka rozdział piąty poświęcony analizie potencjalnych skutków wdrożenia podatku od transakcji finansowych.

The subject of the master thesis is taxation of financial transactions.First, attention will be paid the genesis of a financial transaction tax in accordance with the provisions of its creator James Tobin. The second chapter was devoted essentially a bank tax in the structure of financial sector taxation, as well as the current legal situation concerning the taxation of financial transactions in Poland.While detailed discussion of the concept of a tax on financial transactions according to the Commission's proposals will be included in the third chapter. Another part of the discussion will be a specific comparison of tax justice in terms of the material with the idea of fair and equitable taxation of the financial sector. Due to the broad term thematic framework, it will also be necessary to make observations concerning the ethics and morality of taxation, as well as attempts to identify the negative consequences of tax evasion. The work ends with the fifth chapter devoted to the analysis of potential effects of implementing a tax on financial transactions.
