The paper fucuses on protection of folk artworks, intellectual property law and related matters, although main focus is on artistic performances. The author analyses the matter of folk output and possibilities of its protection. The paper also presents the matter of folk artist personal portrayal protection and shows proper organisations of colective managment. Finally, the last presented matter concerns problems of protection of folklore in wider, international perspective.
