W pracy przedstawiono rolę Roberta Kennedy'ego, ówczesnego prokuratora generalnego Stanów Zjednoczonych, w czasie kubańskiego kryzysu rakietowego.W pierwszym rozdziale omówiony został przebieg kryzysu z naciskiem na wydarzenia poza debatami toczonymi w Białym Domu. W drugim podrozdziale przedstawiona została biografia Roberta Kennedy'ego. Zasadniczym tematem pracy jest rozdział drugi. Została w nim przedstawiona rola Roberta w świetle jego własnych wspomnień, wspomnień innych uczestników kryzysu oraz transkryptu rozmów w Białym Domu.

In the thesis there is depicted role of Robert Kennedy, at this time attorney general, during the Cuban missile crisis.In the first chapter there is described course of crisis, with emphasis of action outside talks in the White House. In the second subsection biography of Robert Kennedy is depicted.The main theme of thesis is second chapter. Role of Robert was shown in the light of his own memoir, memoirs of other participants and transcript of discussions in the White House
