W pracy dyplomowej zostaje przedstawiona analiza językowa materiałów prasowych z lat 1917 – 1930.Na początku pracy, w rozdziale teoretycznym, przedstawiam metodę badawczą oraz wyjaśniam jej zastosowanie w swojej pracy. Następnie omawiam teorię propagandy, manipulacji językowej oraz perswazji. W rozdziale teoretycznym przytaczam definicje politologiczne, językoznawcze i socjologiczne wyżej przedstawionych terminów. Później przytaczam wybrane aspekty językoznawstwa kognitywnego, które odgrywają dużą rolę w procesie wyjaśnienia zasad działania propagandy językowej. Szczególną uwagę zwracam na badania Georga Lakoffa , dotyczące kategoryzacji oraz ramowania, a także pracę Georga Lakoffa i Marka Johnsona, odnoszącą się do analizy metafor. Kolejną częścią mojej pracy jest rozdział dotyczący okresu historycznego, w którym zostały wydane analizowane przeze mnie teksty, czyli lat 1917 – 1930 na Ukrainie. Okres ten był szczególnie burzliwy i bogaty w wydarzenia, dlatego by w pełni zrozumieć propagandę komunistyczną tamtych lat należało przyjrzeć się najpierw historii tego okresu.Kolejny rozdział to najważniejsza cześć pracy, w której analizuję wybrane fragmenty z prasy Ukraińskiej zawierające propagandę komunistyczną. W oparciu o teorię zawartą w rozdziale teoretycznym, wzbogaconą przez odwołania do pracy Victora Klemperera, dotyczącą języka propagandy nazistowskiej analizuję i komentuję artykuły prasowe.W zakończeniu dokonuję podsumowania całości pracy oraz zaznaczam trwałość struktur myślowych, które pojawiły się w społeczeństwach postkomunistycznych na skutek propagandy oraz wyjaśniam, jaki wpływ ma ona na dzisiejsze wydarzania, które mają miejsce na Ukrainie.

The thesis is the linguistic analysis of the press materials from the years 1917 to 1930. At the beginning of the thesis, in the theoretical section, I present a research method and explain its use in propaganda analysis. Then I discuss the theory of propaganda, manipulation and persuasion. I focused mainly in the linguistic area of studies. In this chapter I presented the theoretical definitions of terms outlined above in political science, linguistics and sociology. Later, I presented some aspects of cognitive linguistics, which play a large role in the explanation of the language of propaganda. Particular attention will turn to the study of George Lakoff, on the categorization and framing, as well as George Lakoff and Mark Johnson, that relate to the analysis of metaphors. Another part of my thesis is a chapter about the historical period in which the press materials were issued (1917 - 1930 in Ukraine). This period was a particularly turbulent and eventful, so in order to fully understand the communist propaganda of those years I had to look deeply at the history of the first period. The next chapter is the most important part of the work, in which I analyze excerpts from the press Ukrainian containing communist propaganda. The analysis are based on the theory described in chapter theoretical, enriched by references to the work of Victor Klemperer, concerning the language Nazi propaganda. In this chapter I am also using some aspects of cognitive linguistic in order to describe the linguistic picture of the world that is reveling itself from the text of the press materials.In the end I make a summary of the whole work, and point out the durability of structures of thought that emerged in post-communist societies as a result of propaganda and explain what impact it has on the happening today that are taking place in Ukraine.
