The myth of the artist nowadays. How Narodowy Stary Teatr in Cracow refers to the image and works of Konrad Swinarski?

Niniejsza praca porusza problem prezentacji twórczości i wizerunku Konrada Swinarskiego w ramach SEZONU 2013 : 014 >< SEZON : SWINARSKI w Narodowym Starym Teatrze w Krakowie. Opisuje sposoby czerpania z nich, reinterpretowania oraz wykorzystywania ich przez artystów teatru w nowych spektaklach i performance’ach. Praca składa się z dwóch części - kalendarium wydarzeń odbywających się w ramach sezonu oraz części teoretycznej poświęconej konstruowaniu i utrwalaniu mitu artysty, pamięci o nim, a także kształtowaniu przeszłości oraz przywoływaniu historii na potrzeby widowiska teatralnego. Jest ona próbą odpowiedzi na pytanie, w jaki sposób wspomniany teatr kreuje na nowo wizerunek artysty trzydzieści dziewięć lat po jego śmierci?

This dissertation is bringing up the problem of the presentation of the artistic work and the image of Konrad Swinarski in frames of Season 2013: 014 >< Season: Swinarski in the Narodowy Stary Teatr in Cracow. It is describing ways of drawing from them, reinterpreting and using them by theater artists in the new productions and performances. The work consists of two parts - a calendar of events taking place in the context of the season and the theoretical part devoted to constructing and perpetuating the myth of the artist, memory about him, the shaping of the past and quoting history for the purposes of a stage performance. It is an attempt to answer the question of how this theater creates a new image of the artist thirty-nine years after his death?
