Problematyka niniejszej pracy dotyczy komunikacji publicznej, jest to jeden z istotnych problemów badawczych współczesnej geografii transportu. Celem natomiast jest zbadanie funkcjonowania oraz organizacji transportu publicznego w powiecie radomskim. Aby tego dokonać przedstawiono najważniejsze uwarunkowania geograficzne wpływające na funkcjonowanie transportu zbiorowego oraz dostępność do niego. Sporządzono model oraz schemat komunikacji publicznej, które ukazują charakterystykę jej organizacji w powiecie radomskim. Najważniejszą częścią pracy było wykorzystanie następujących wskaźniki: punktualności, regularności oraz napełnienia. Procedura analizy ich w skali całego powiatu oraz na każdym poszczególnym punkcie gdzie przeprowadzono badania pozwoliła na kompleksowe ujęcie badanego zagadnienia.

The issue of this work relates to public transportation, this is one of the major problems of modern transport geography research. The aim is to examine the functioning and organization of public transport in Radom County. To accomplish this are the most important geographical influencing the functioning of public transport and accessibility to it. Done at the model and public transport scheme, which show the characteristics of its organization in Radom County. The most important part of this work was the use of the following indicators: punctuality, regularity and filling. Procedure for the analysis of their county-wide and on each individual point where collaborative study allowed for comprehensive coverage of the issues under consideration.
