Celem pacy zatytułowanej ,,Usługi ubezpieczeniowe w redukowaniu ryzyka działalności małych i średnich przedsiębiorstw,, było zidentyfikowanie ryzyka w działalności małych i średnich przedsiębiorstw,przedstawienie usług ubezpieczeniowych jako metody kompensacji ryzyka,a następnie analiza oferty usług ubezpieczeniowych,skierowanych do małych i średnich przedsiębiorstw w Polsce ,oferowanych przez badane towarzystwa ubezpieczeniowe. Założenia zostały zrealizowane poprzez analizę wybranych ofert ubezpieczeniowych,skierowanych do małych i średnich przedsiębiorstw oraz badaniem nad literaturą przedmiotu.Praca składa się z dwóch rozdziałów teoretycznych,dotyczących ryzyka występującego w działalności małych i średnich przedsiębiorstw,przedstawieniu ubezpieczeń jako metody kompensacji ryzyka ,a także rozdziału praktycznego,w którym zbadano stopień zaspokojenia potrzeb małych i średnich przedsiębiorstw poprzez badane towarzystwa ubezpieczeniowe.

The purpose of the dissertation entitled “Insurance services and their role in reduction of business risk of small and medium enterprises” was to identify risk connected with the business of small and medium enterprises, to present insurance as a method of risk compensation, and then to analyse insurance services for small and medium enterprises in Poland offered by insurance companies. The assumptions were achieved through the analysis of selected insurance offers for small and medium enterprises and through study of the literature on the subject.The dissertation consists of two theoretical chapters on the risk connected with the business of small and medium enterprises, on insurance as a method of risk compensation, and also of a practical chapter which examines to what extent the needs of small and medium enterprises are satisfied by the relevant insurance companies.
