Celem niniejszej pracy jest zaprezentowanie magiczności oraz funkcji realizmu we współczesnej odmianie baśni. Wyżej wymienione problemy pragnę ukazać na przykładzie trzech utworów: Opowieści z Narnii Clive Staples Lewisa, Tam gdzie spadają Anioły Doroty Terakowskiej, oraz Magiczne drzewo Andrzeja Maleszki.We wszystkich wykorzystanych tekstach codzienność przenika się z magicznością. Bohaterami są zwykli ludzie, których spotykają niesamowite wydarzenia. Utwory te zostały wybrane przez wzgląd na cechy baśni, które w nich odnajdujemy. Możemy tutaj wymienić m.in. obecność fantastycznych postaci, antropomorfizacja przyrody, funkcja moralizująca. Teksty te pokazują czytelnikowi zasady ważne w życiu (wiara, miłość, przyjaźń, rodzina).Cudowność obecna jest w literaturze od zarania wieków, szczególnie w literaturze dla dzieci i młodzieży.We wszystkich pozycjach niezwykłość służy rozwijaniu wyobraźni, która jest bardzo ważnym elementem składowym rozwoju dziecka. Bez niej młodym ludziom trudno stawić czoło przeciwnościom losu. Utwory takie przygotowują dziecko do pokonywania niebezpieczeństw, a przez to, do prawdziwego życia. Połączenie rzeczywistości z magicznością jest fenomenalnym sposobem prezentowania dzieciom ważnych prawd życiowych. Taki zestaw doskonale wyjaśnia im otaczającą je rzeczywistość.Zdarzenia są magiczne, ale problemy, jakie dzieci rozwiązują, są bardzo prawdziwe. Obok maleńkiego kawałeczka świata, jaki znają, jest świat wielki i niezwykły. Literatura odwołuje się do podświadomości dziecka poprzez obrazy, symbole, archetypy. Tę trudną rolę biorą na siebie wszystkie utwory fantastyczne, które często w łatwy i przyjemny dla czytelnika sposób ukazują wartości.Głównym założeniem niniejszej pracy było zaprezentowanie niezwykłych cech, jakie występują w utworach, oraz ukazanie funkcji realizmu, w tychże tekstach. Po wnikliwych badaniach możemy powiedzieć, że realizm obrazuje to, czym żyją dzieci. Ukazuje także, że nawet w prozaicznych sytuacjach, może tkwić cudowność. Przy tym wszystkim nadaje utworom grozy, humoru czy uprawdopodobnia całą historię. Praca miała na celu pokazać, iż utwory, w których odnajdujemy cudowność, w sposób szczególny przygotowują dzieci do późniejszego życia. Pomagają im odkrywać niesamowitość zdarzeń w zwykłych, prozaicznych sytuacjach.

The purpose of this paper is to present the magic of realism and functionality in modern variant of fairy tales. The above-mentioned problems I would like to show an example of three tracks: The Chronicles of Narnia Clive Staples Lewis, Where Angels fall Terakowska Dorothy and The Magic Tree Andrew Maleszki. Texts used in all reality intertwines with the magic.The heroes are ordinary people who meet amazing event. These pieces have been chosen for the sake of the characteristics of fairy tales that we find in them. We can quote the presence of fantastic characters, anthropomorphism nature moralizing function. These texts show the reader the principle important in life (faith, love, friendship, family). The uniqueness of each item is the development of imagination, which is a very important component of a child's development. Without it, young people find it difficult to face adversity. Such a set of perfectly explains the reality that surrounds them. Events are magical, but the problems that children solve, they are very real.
