Wskutek działalności człowieka w obrębie zlewni i koryta Porębianki doszło do zmiany funkcjonowania koryta. Antropopresja w zlewni polega głównie na zmianie użytkowania terenu oraz zabudowie hydrotechnicznej koryta Porębianki.Celem pracy jest zbadanie wpływu działalności człowieka, a w szczególności zabudowy hydrotechnicznej na wykształcenie i dynamikę koryta Porębianki. Efektem regulacji hydrotechnicznych jest zmiana przebiegu koryta z roztokowego w wąskie i proste w kilku odcinkach. Wybudowanie zapór przeciwrumowiskowych przyczyniło się do zwiększonej akumulacji rumowiska powyżej nich. Poniżej zapór przeciwrumowiskowych zaznacza się intensywna erozja wgłębna, która jest dominującym procesem w korycie Porębianki. Oprócz akumulacji i erozji wgłębnej ważnym procesem jest erozja boczna.

Human activity in the area of river channel of Porębianka river caused changes in the functioning of the channel. Anthropopression in the catchment is based mainly on the change in the land usage and hydrotechnical building of the Porębianka river channel.Aim of the work is to examine influence of the human activities, particularly influence of the hydrotechnical building on the forming and dynamics of Porębianka river channel. An effect of the hydrotechnical river training is a change in the channel pattern from braided into narrow and straight in few sections. Creating debris dams contributed to increased deposition of the debris before these dams. In sections after debris dams can be visible strong vertical erosion. It is a dominant process present in the Porębianka river channel. Apart from deposition and vertical erosion there is also an important process that is lateral erosion.
