The impact of solar radiation on human health.

Praca ma na celu wykazanie jaki wpływ na zdrowie człowieka ma promieniowanie słoneczne. W pierwszej części pracy scharakteryzowano promieniowanie i jego rodzaje. Opisano skład promieniowania ultrafioletowego oraz czynniki wpływające na jego natężenie. Przedstawiono rozkład promieniowania UV w Polsce. W drugiej części pracy scharakteryzowano pozytywny, jak i negatywny wpływ promieniowania słonecznego na organizm ludzki. Uwzględniono terapię słońcem jako podstawową formę klimatoterapii. W negatywnych skutkach nadmiernej ekspozycji na Słońce opisano fotostarzenie się skóry, poparzenia słoneczne i nowotwory skóry, jako najniebezpieczniejszą konsekwencję opalania.

The aim of the study is to demonstrate the impact of the solar radiation on the human health. The first part characterizes the radiation and its types, moreover describes the composition of ultraviolet radiation, and factors affecting its intensity. There is shown distribution of UV radiation in Poland. The second part of the study characterizes positive and negative effect of solar radiations on the humans organism. Sun therapy has been taken into account as the basic form of climatotherapy. In negative effects of overexposure to the sun describes photoaging of the skin, sunburn and skin cancer, as the most dangerous consequence of the sunbath.
