Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) History and prevention against threats to the security of USA

Pierwszy rozdział pracy magisterskiej napisanej przeze mnie jest rozdziałem historycznym. Zajmuję się w nim rozwojem i transformacją Federalnego Biura Śledczego od momentu jego powstania do czasów teraźniejszych. Ewolucja Biura na przestrzeni ponad 100 lat miała tendencję wzrostową – jednak w tak długim okresie czasu Biuro napotykało także przeszkody na swojej drodze. Nie tylko zewnętrzne lecz również i wewnętrzne. Pierwszy rozdział jest podzielony na podrozdziały, które zawierają szereg informacji odnośnie poszczególnych dekad w istnieniu Federalnego Biura Śledczego.W drugim rozdziale zajmuje się jednym z niezwykle niebezpiecznych a zarazem najważniejszym obecnie zagrożeniem na które narażone są Stany Zjednoczone. Tym opisywanym przeze mnie zagrożeniem jest zjawisko terroryzmu. W drugim rozdziale opisałem zarówno terroryzm międzynarodowy jak i jego odmianę krajową wywołaną poprzez działalność ekstremistów, anarchistów oraz innych grup. USA ze względu na pozycję i rolę jaką zajmują w dzisiejszej polityce są ciągle narażone na wystąpienie podobnego ataku jak ten z 2001, a także na ataki swoich rodzimych mieszkańców kraju. W trzecim rozdziale wymieniłem według mnie pozostałe najważniejsze zagrożenia występujące na terytorium USA. Niektórymi wymienionymi przeze mnie są: łamanie praw i wolności obywatelskich, zagrożenia cybernetyczne, publiczna korupcja, czy też przestępczość zorganizowana. FBI pełni najważniejszą rolę zarówno w wykrywaniu tego rodzaju przestępstw jak i w ich zapobieganiu.W każdym z powyższych rozdziałów chciałem skupić się na wyeksponowaniu roli Federalnego Biura Śledczego we współczesnym świecie oraz pokazaniu wkładu jaki Biuro wniosło na działania podejmowane w dziedzinie bezpieczeństwa, czy też przeciwdziałania zagrożeniom zarówno na terenie USA jak i na terenie innych państw na wszystkich kontynentach.

First chapter of my thesis is historical. It covers development and transformation of the Federal Bureau of Investigation since its creation till present situation. Bureau's evolution, during the period of over 100 years, could be characterized with an upward trend. However, while such a long period of time, the Bureau has faced number of obstacles and challenges, both internal and external. Firt chapter is divided in subsections, that include variety of information in regards to particular decades of FBI's operation and existance. In the second chapter I take closer look into one of the most dangerous and at the same time most meaningful threats, that USA is facing. The described issue is the issue of terrorism. Second chapter covers the description of international terrorism and analysis of its domestic type related to the operation of extremists, anarchists and much more. USA, in consideration to the role and position it holds in the present politics and economics environments, is constantly in danger of such violations and attacks, like the ones from 2001 as well as internal threats.In the third chapter I listed major threats to the country of USA, except for terrorism. The list contains, but is not limited to: violating civil rights and freedom, cybernetic threats, public corruption or organized criminality. FBI holds the most important role in detecting and preventing this type of violations. In each of chapters mentioned above, I wanted to focus on highlighting the role of FBI in contemporary world and input that Bureau has put on the subject of national and international security and prevention from violations and crimes.
