Pursuant to the amendment of the Administrative Procedure Code, the Act of April 7, 2017 amending the act - Code of Administrative Pro-cedure and certain other acts, a number of changes were introduced to the Code, which intend to accelerate and simplify administrative pro-ceedings. The legislator's intentions to make administrative proceedings less formal and shorten its duration can be seen in many new process constructions, but undoubtedly, especially in the above trend, simplified proceedings and silent handling of the case are inherent. The aim of the considerations will therefore be to present the indicated process institu-tions, as well as an attempt to balance the issue of the real impact of the adopted regulation on the duration of the administrative procedure and its simplification.
