kapsuła, widelnice, chorion, Isoperla grammatica
The object of this research was the egg capsules of the stonefly named Isoperla grammatica. The aim of this study was to describe a construction of the egg capsule and to define subpopulations of the follicular cells which are responsible for a production of the specific regions of the capsule. The egg capsules are formed in the process called choriogenezy. The precursors of the guards eggs are formed by the follicular epithelium cells. The capsule of the Isoperla grammatica egg has an oval shape. It was observed that one of the lateral surfaces of the egg capsule is distinctly concaved. The egg capsules of the tested species are polarized. It can be distinguished: the front and the basic region of the capsule. At the front region there are a lid, a micropylar camera and a basic part. At the rear region there are an attachment structures. The egg capsules are also radially varied. A cover yolk and a chorion is monolayer, containing the aeopyral system. Peryferal is localized in a double-layered thin ekstrachorion.Eggshell of Isoperla grammatica reveals several adaptations to the environment: a thick chorion providing mechanical protection, aeropyles providing enough oxygen to the developing embroy and an attachment structure anchoring the egg to the basis. That all is going to growth and development embroy in a diffrent conditions of the environment.
