Rise and fall of a phenomenon of communities in the internet

Artykuł opisuje tendencję do możliwej zmiany w rozumieniu i sposobie użytkowania internetowych społeczności, które funkcjonują jako główny fenomen ostatniej fazy Internetu, formując nowe środowisko szczególnie użyteczne z punktu widzenia przedsięwzięć gospodarczych. Fenomen ten jest oparty jednak na oboczności pomiędzy wspólnotą i jednostką, przy czym ta ostatnia staje się przedmiotem kontroli szczególnie ze strony rządów i korporacji. Oznacza to możliwość utraty przez nią spontaniczności i otwartości, która z kolei może wpłynąć na sposób funkcjonowania społeczności internetowych, podporządkowanych w większym stopniu czynnikom ekonomicznym. Z tego powodu stoimy prawdopodobnie u wrót nowej, odmiennej fazy opartego na nich Internetu.

The article tries to prove the tendency of possible change in thinking about and using communities on the Internet. Communities are the main phenomenon of last stadium of the internet and form the new environment which is useful especially for an entrepreneurship. But it is founded on the dichotomy between the community and an individuality. The last one unfortunately has become the aim of control, especially from the side of corporations and governments. It means that individuality can lose its spontaneity and openness, which can affect the mode of functioning of the internet communities. From this moment it could rely much more on the economic factors which could cause a new, different phase of internet communities.
