Nowsze i najnowsze badania nad interiekcjami (Journal of Pragmatics 1992; Wharton 2000, 2003; Świątkowska 2000, 2006) wykazują jako ich cechę inherentną deiktyczność. Jeżeli interiekcjom przypisuje się pewną zawartość propozycjonalną i deiktyczną, to otwarta pozostaje kwestia, czy są one eksponentami deixis, a w szczególności czy kodują one proceduralnie nadawcę względnie mówcę czy też inny rodzaj obiektu deiktycznego, albo są nośnikiem innej informacji proceduralnej. Artykuł podejmuje próbę wykazania, że interiekcje są eksponentami egocentrycznie wyznaczonego mentalnego punktu wyjścia współrzędnych, otwierających na płaszczyźnie wskazywania obszar przestrzennej, czasowej i osobowej orientacji deiktycznej, tj. Bühlerowskiego origo.

The recent and most recent research concerning interjections (Journal of Pragmatics 1992; Wharton 2000, 2003; Świątkowska 2000, 2006) proves that deicticity is their inherent feature. If one attributes a certain propositional and deictic content to interjections, there remains an open question as to whether they are exponents of deixis, and in particular, whether they procedurally encode the sender or possibly the speaker or some other kind of a deictic object, or whether they are carriers of procedural information. The paper attempts to demonstrate that interjections are exponents of an egocentrically determined mental starting point of coordinates which open an area of a spatial, temporal, and personal deictic orientation on the plane of indicating, i.e. Bühler’s origo.
