Przedmiotem rozważań w artykule jest kształtowanie się postawy patriotycznej w przestrzeni społecznej, w której sytuuje się życiowa aktywność jednostek, jaką tworzy środowisko lokalne. Autorka postrzega patriotyzm jako ważny element świadomości społeczeństwa obywatelskiego. Aktualnie uzewnętrznianemu patriotyzmowi brakuje obywatelskiego zaangażowania dla ojczyzny (zwłaszcza tego na poziomie lokalnym). Ważnym jego elementem jest przejmowanie współodpowiedzialności mieszkańców za losy społeczności lokalnej. W tekście zaprezentowano narzędzie pozwalające na budzenie szerszego zainteresowania mieszkańców lokalnymi sprawami. Jest nim budżet obywatelski, w którym uczenie się jest naturalnym i nieodzownym elementem uczestnictwa. Czynne zaangażowanie w realizację budżetu staje się przesłanką dla nowego sposobu postrzegania i rozumienia współczesnego patriotyzmu.

The subject of discussion in the article is the formation of a patriotic attitude in the social space in which I situates the life activity of individuals, which is created by a local environment. The author sees patriotism as an important element of the consciousness of civil society and considers to advisable adapt in to modern times. Currently visible patriotism missing civic involvement for the country (especially at the local level). Learning is a natural and indispensable element of participation. Active involvement in the preparation and implementation of the budget is a prerequisite for a new way of perceiving and understanding of contemporary patriotism. An important element of the modern patriotism is taking over responsibility for the fate of the inhabitants of local communities. In article author presented tool for local communities, allowing broader interest about local affairs. It is the citizens budget, in which learning is a natural and essential part of participation. Active involvement in the preparation and implementation of the budget is a first step for a new way of perceiving and understanding of modern patriotism.
