Globalization and new wars : a cultural perspective

The aim of this paper is to show the impact of globalization on the phenomenon of war, looking at the problem from the cultural perspective. The global increase in the number of connections regarding all areas of our life - politics, economy, culture, securit - significantly affects the goals and means of warfare. War, entering the global space, is no longer territorial, and can’t be solved in a conventional ways. War loses its frame, for the actors, time, place and purposes, and becomes liquid. At the same time, the article indicates the differences that still exist in the methods of warfare between members of distinct cultures and civilizations. The study of different war cultures seems to be very important in the world, which expands the scope of relations, including cross-cultural contacts.
