Niniejszą pracą poruszam problematykę dozwolonego użytku osobistego w polskich regulacjach prawnych, w szczególności w kontekście roli, jaką odgrywa legalność źródła z którego kopiowano utwory dla użytku prywatnego. Wyjaśniam kwestie związane z doliczaniem opłat za posiadanie nośników lub urządzeń służących do kopiowania, które uzyskuje się ze sprzedaży tych urządzeń. Przedstawiam także konstrukcję dozwolonego użytku prywatnego w Federacji Rosyjskiej oraz wskazuję na ograniczenia w tej instytucji. Celem niniejszej pracy jest dokonanie porównania granic dozwolonego użytku osobistego w Polsce a w Federacji Rosyjskiej.

The following paper examines the issue of Private Legal Use in Polish legal regulations, in particular in the context of the role played by the legitimacy of the source from which the information is taken and copied for the private usage. The issues related to the addition of fees for the possession of carriers or devices used for copying are explained. Moreover, the construction of the Private Legal Use institution in the Russian Federation is also presented, and the limitations in this agency are identified. The objective of the this paper is to compare the limits of the Private Legal Use in Poland and in the Russian Federation.
