W opracowaniu przedstawiono sytuację dotyczącą szczepień, profilaktyki oraz leczenia grypy w sezonie grypowym 2006/2007, a także opisano główne zmiany wprowadzone przez Komitet Doradczy ds. Szczepień (ACIP) do corocznych zaleceń, które ukazały się w lipcu br. Zalecenia te dotyczą: 1) stosowania szczepień u dzieci od 24 do 59 miesiąca życia oraz osób, z którymi dzieci te mają kontakt, np. opiekunów; 2) znaczenia podawania dwóch dawek szczepionki przeciwko grypie dzieciom w wieku od 6 miesiąca życia do 9 roku życia, które nigdy wcześniej nie były szczepione przeciwko grypie; 3) porad dla osób świadczących usługi medyczne, szczególnie dla tych, którzy planują zorganizowanie akcji szczepień, oraz dla właściwych władz ds. zdrowia publicznego; 4) przypomnienia skierowanego do świadczeniodawców usług medycznych, aby rutynowo wspominali pacjentom o możliwości zaszczepienia się przeciwko grypie przez cały sezon grypowy; 5) zalecenia, aby nie stosować amantadyny ani rymantadyny w profilaktyce oraz leczeniu grypy; 6) składu szczepionki trójskładnikowej na sezon 2006/2007. W nawiązaniu do listu kierownika Krajowego Ośrodka ds. Grypy w PZH prof. Brydak oraz prezesa Polskiego Towarzystwa Medycyny Rodzinnej prof. Steciwko opublikowanego w poprzednim numerze „Zakażeń”, podane jest także streszczenie oświadczenia Europejskich Producentów Szczepionek.
abstract in English:
This article presents the current situation relating to the influenza 2006/2007 season vaccinations, influenza treatment and prophylaxis pointing out the main changes introduced into the annual recommendations prepared by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP). These recommendations were published in July of this year and introduce the following changes and updates: 1) recommending vaccination of children aged 24–59 months and their household contacts, e.g. out-of-home caregivers; 2) highlighting the importance of administering 2 doses of influenza vaccine for children aged 6 months – < 9 years who were previously unvaccinated; 3) advising health-care providers, those planning organized campaigns and respective public health agencies; 4) reminding providers that influenza vaccine should be offered to patients throughout the influenza season; 5) recommending that neither amantadine nor rimantadine be used for the treatment or chemoprophylaxis of influenza; 6) virus strains contained in the 2006/2007 trivalent influenza vaccine. Additionally, in relation to the letter of the Head of the National Influenza Centre at the National Institute of Hygiene – prof. Brydak and the President of the Polish Society of Family Medicine – prof. Steciwko which was enclosed as an insert in the last issue of „Zakażenia” – the article summarizes the statement of the European Vaccine Manufacturers.
