Vaudeville’s popularity in 40s of 19th century coincides with the birth of daguerreotype – the first photographic technique. Both phenomenons appear to be the mirror image of bourgeoisie that flourished while Romanticism was in decline and capitalism raised. Both were intended for the popular culture and received vivid recognition from middle class that was closer to proletariat and petite bourgeoisie. The purpose of this paper is to create a general frame of vaudeville revolution, with censorship creating preventive measures and audience dreaming of new order based on still more personal and less common ideas.pl
