Artykuł omawia projekt nowelizacji kodeksu pracy z dnia 10 kwietnia 2015 r., który przewiduje daleko idące przekształcenia w dziedzinie umów terminowych (druk sejmowy nr 3321). Proponowane zmiany obejmują katalog rodzajów umów o pracę, umowę na okres próbny, zasady zatrudniania na podstawie umowy na czas określony, w tym dopuszczalność jej wcześniejszego rozwiązania oraz długość okresu wypowiedzenia, a także zwolnienie pracownika z obowiązku świadczenia pracy w okresie wypowiedzenia. Celem opracowania jest przedstawienie planowanych zmian oraz ocena ich skutków.

The elaboration introduces the draft of the amendment to the Labour Code of 10th April 2015, which provides major changes concerning fixed - term contracts. The planned amendments relate to types of employment contracts, a contract for probation, contracts for a definite term, including protection against abuses, admissibility of termination and period of notice of a contract for a definite term, as well as the exemption from the duty to work during the period of notice.
